RANDOM TIDS & BITS- Wed 1/29/24-

“Deadly Ketchup…A Presidential Family Affair…& Identical Gibberish!”

A study in 1896 found that 90% of all commercial ketchups contained “injurious ingredients” that could lead to death.  Like harmful preservatives, coal tar used as a dye, and poisonous byproducts from the manufacturing process. So “at a time when no one else cared” Henry Heinz was a visionary who was obsessed with making products as pure as possible.  He refused to use the brown opaque bottles that were common at the time.  Instead, his see-through bottles were a design statement:  Purity through transparency.

After President Benjamin Harrison’s wife died, he wound up marrying her niece.

40% of twins invent their own languages.
