Technically, peanuts are not nuts.  They don’t meet the botanical definition, which is “a fruit whose ovary wall becomes hard at maturity.”  They also grow in the ground, so they are classified as legumes.

Americans spend about 37 billion hours total waiting in line every year.

When a word has multiple meanings, in virtually all cases the noun form stresses the first syllable and verb stresses the last.  For example, CON-tract is a noun, con-TRACT is a verb.
