“Ever Heard Of Cornelius Crane, Maryland? Probably Not…1,800 Life Sentences Cut Short…& They’re Crips- Not Chips!!”

The town of Chevy Chase, Maryland wasn’t named after the actor, or vice versa.  Both names were inspired by an English historical ballad about a war that took place on the border between England and Scotland. By the way, “Chevy” started as the actor’s nickname.  He was born Cornelius Crane Chase.  

A woman named Chamoy Thipyaso from Bangkok, Thailand received the longest prison sentence in world history back in 1989 . . . 141,078 years for running a $204 million pyramid scheme. But she was released in 1993, after just FOUR YEARS.

Pringles are only about 42% potato . . . the rest is wheat starch, flour, oils, salt, and seasoning.  And because of that, they’re not legally allowed to be called “potato chips” . . . technically they’re “potato crisps.”
