“The Difference Is As Clear As Purple Or Orange…Sarcastic Mistake That’s Exceptionally Good…& Wanna Stay In That Nice Concentration Camp Hotel in Ukraine?!”

Sweet potatoes and yams are NOT the same thing.  They are two different species of root vegetable with very different backgrounds and uses. The U.S. government perpetuated the error of labeling sweet potatoes with orange flesh “yams” . . . but they’re still sweet potatoes.  Yams are actually uncommon in America.  They’re native to Africa and Asia . . . they have dark almost black bark-like skin, with purple, white, or reddish flesh . . . they can grow up to seven feet long . . . and they’re NOT sweet.

The word “egregious” comes from Latin . . . where it meant “exceptionally good.”  But people kept using it sarcastically, to the point where the meaning completely evolved and now, it only means “exceptionally bad.”

There’s a five-star hotel in Ukraine . . . still . . . that used to be a Nazi concentration camp.  Not that this is the best time to be vacationing in Ukraine.
