Light bulbs in the New York City subway and other train systems have left-hand screws.  The backwards design is to prevent people from stealing bulbs for use at home.  

The guy who invented cotton candy was a dentist from Tennessee.

Until the 1940s, baby boys were dressed in pink and baby girls were dressed in blue.  Pink was for boys because it was considered a STRONGER color . . . blue was for girls because it was considered more delicate and dainty.
