Peter Jackson and the Flightless Beast
Director Peter Jackson will always be associated with “The Lord of the Rings”, but maybe he should have been part of the “Jurassic Park” franchise instead. He and his partner Fran Walsh have donated $15 million to an effort to bring back an extinct bird called the giant moa. The largest species of bird ever known to exist. It was flightless and went extinct by around the year 1500.
The problems on the set of “Jaws” are legendary, but did you know things were so bad that Steven Spielberg called his mother??? There’s a new documentary airing tonight on NatGeo called “Jaws @ 50: The Definitive Inside Story” . . . and in it, Spielberg says, quote, “I talked to my mom a lot. “I mean, I was talking to my mom kinda like, ‘Mommy, this is really impossible, help!'” Spielberg says he never wanted to quit, but he was constantly worried he was gonna get fired.
The Daily Mail says Tom Holland and Bradley Cooper recently surprised fans at Gordon Ramsay’s Lucky Cat restaurant in London. Tom took a cooking lesson in the private kitchen, while Bradley later joined him, leaving diners shocked. A customer said Tom joked about playing Spider-Man while cooking.
Netflix is canceling “Queer Eye” after the upcoming 10th season. The show is a reboot of the Bravo series “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy”, and it’s the longest-running original unscripted show on Netflix.

The Daily Mail says Kevin Hart’s California burger chain has abruptly closed all of its locations after just two years. Hart House was a vegan fast food chain that had plans to expand into Washington, D.C. and Atlanta. It was launched shortly after Kevin made a commitment to a plant-based diet. A message on the Hart House Instagram page reads, “Thank You. A Hartfelt goodbye for now as we start a new chapter.”
Page Six says Tom Brady and Sofia Vergara are allegedly enjoying a “Summer romance” in Spain, after cozying up during a yacht trip with A-list guests. An insider says Brady asked to switch seats to sit next to Vergara at dinner. A source tells Naughty But Nice, “They’re not romantic. They’re not dating. They were just having a laugh. It’s nothing serious — it never was. Everyone moved seats. It wasn’t some formal, royal banquet. People were mingling, drinking, walking around. It was casual — not romantic. Another insider says, “He dates models. Sofía’s amazing, but not his type romantically.”
OK! magazine says Denise Richards’ reality TV show, ‘’Denise Richards and Her Wild Things’’, has been canceled after just one season. Her husband, Aaron, filed for a divorce from her on Monday.
Screen Rant says Superman is projected to have the biggest opening weekend ever for a solo movie in the franchise. The film is projected to have a $230-$250 million global debut.
Shaboozey tells People magazine that Beyoncé encouraged him to embrace authenticity in his artistry. “She told me ‘Just be yourself. Just be confident in the fact that you are different, you are unique and that’s what people are going to resonate with.’ That’s stuck with me all this time.”
Bailey Zimmerman was doing a recent interview for CountryNow.com when he said breakfast is one of his favorite parts of the day. “I’m a massive Eggs Benedict guy. I love Eggs Benedict. AL.com says Ella Langley has purchased a lakefront property near Montgomery, Alabama. She expressed the importance of connecting with her roots for songwriting. The home will be a vacation spot from her busy life in Nashville.
