Nutella is set to introduce Nutella Peanut, the first new Nutella flavor in its 60-year history. It will be made in Chicago. The peanut-infused hazelnut spread will hit store shelves in April 2026. 

According to longevity expert Dan Buettner , popcorn has so many health benefits that it can actually help you live until 100 years old. The key term he uses though is: AIR popped. 

Competitive eater Joey Chestnut recently devoured 15.75 pounds of bologna in just eight minutes at the Ultimate Bologna Showdown in Knoxville, Tennessee.  The feat was a new world record. Chestnut’s incredible feat left spectators in awe, with one witness expressing, “I can’t even eat a pound of bologna in a day.” 

Gino’s East of Chicago is serving a special pizza to celebrate Pope Leo XIV being from Chicago. The Pope-roni Pizza has three types of pepperoni and Chicago sausage on the famous Gino’s East crust. The pie is available in deep dish or thin crust and will be served throughout the Pope’s term. 

Studies have shown that people who drink alcohol before eating experience a higher appetite and better tasting food.  Those studies suggested that people can actually feel REWARDED when eating high-fat foods after drinking alcohol. 

The Social Security Administration released its annual baby names list for Mother’s Day.  And for the sixth year in a row, Olivia and Liam are the top names for girls and boys.  Four names have dominated the top spots for over a decade now:  Olivia and Emma for girls, and Liam and Noah for boys.

People are paying to have their phones taken away on vacation. Guests at the Grand Velas Resorts, in Mexico, can book a digital detox vacation. Guests at the Urban Cowboy Lodge in the Catskills lock their devices away. The resorts say guests are antsy for the first 24 hours without their phones, but then relax and forget about them after 48 hours. 

There’s a new study out, which says that 15% of people would rather be trash-talked behind their backs . . . than not mentioned at all.  The idea is that for some people “social invisibility is worse than being badmouthed.”
