Disney Dating App Launching: The NY Post says Disney fans will soon have their own dating app. “Single Riders”  mirrors Disney World’s single rider lines, enabling fans to make love connections and new friendships.  The app allows singles to see if other singles are in the park at the same time as they are. A Disney superfan in Orlando is behind it.  He goes by JoeTheBeardedNerd on social media. He says it’s meant for “theme park enthusiasts” in general, but Disney adults are the target audience. 

Variety magazine says Michael Strahan and Chip and Joanna Gaines are among the guest sharks for the upcoming season of “Shark Tank”. The new additions will join returning sharks Barbara Corcoran, Lori Greiner, and others on the show.  “Shark Tank” will air on Wednesdays on ABC this Fall.

The sequel to the 1984 cult classic ‘This Is Spinal Tap’ hits theaters in September. Rob Reiner is the writer/director. Paul McCartney and Elton John make an appearance.

The National Enquirer says Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, is allegedly eyeing a rebound with John Travolta. An insider reveals, “They go back a long way, there is a friendship there already, so it’s not like she’s doing this out of nowhere. Now that she’s finally free, she’s set on building a stronger, more meaningful friendship with John … and hopefully more. After all, she’s single, she looks fantastic and has a lot of good in her, which some people can’t rightly say about Hugh right now. She’s come out of this divorce smelling like a rose. Friends have been telling her she deserves better and is well rid of Hugh. The feeling is that John is just the sort of person to show Deb a good time and make her forget the last two wretched years.”

The National Enquirer says Tom Cruise is allegedly stepping in to help John Travolta revive his career. A source reveals, “There was a time when Tom would have gloated over seeing John fall on his face back when there was definitely a frenemy vibe between them. They never really gelled, even though they are both Scientologists. Tom didn’t love it when John was getting a ton of attention, and vice versa. Their rivalry wasn’t as intense as Tom’s with Brad Pitt, but there was tension. But now that Tom’s at the top of the Hollywood food chain, he’s a lot more magnanimous. He can reach down and help people, and he’s looking to do something to help John. One possible idea would be for Tom to offer John a role in his next blockbuster.

The eBay auction for the Fyre Festival name and IP ended yesterday, and Billy McFarland was obviously disappointed with the take. It only went for $245,300.  McFarland was touting it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to, quote, “launch festivals, do merch collabs, do insane pop-ups, run livestreams, or build a media brand.”

George Strait’s upcoming benefit concert to aid Texas flood victims is officially sold out. The event, set for July 27th in Boerne, Texas, features a lineup of talented artists. Strait’s team expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support from fans. The lineup includes Riley Green, Randy Houser, Jamey Johnson, and others. Tyler Hubbard tells Us Weekly that he is “more in love with his wife than ever” after 10 years of marriage. “I can honestly say I wouldn’t be here without her. I’m incredibly grateful.  have a super supportive wife and great teammate. Even before kids, she was all about supporting me, and it was just, it was special. Now we get to do it together. We get to go on this solo journey together, which is really exciting, and she’s so supportive of that. But then parenting and homeschooling and everything that she does, keeping the train on the tracks, it’s a full-time job, and she does an incredible job with it. I’m more in love with her than ever.”

It sounds like Miranda Lambert is planning a Texas flood relief concert of her own.  She was asked about the impact of the disaster in Texas, and she said, “I feel like I’m on the verge of tears constantly . . . We’re working on putting some stuff together.” In other news, Chris Stapleton just made a $1 million donation through his Outland State of Kind fund to help with flood relief efforts. A source says Gwen Stefani is concerned.  “She does love him, and she does love his watch, but she feels like there’s nothing she can do – and she’s sick of nagging.
