MTV Is Bringing Back the Good Old Days—For a Limited Time Only

MTV is giving us a taste of the good ol’ days with 24/7 music videos…temporarily.  It started yesterday and will run until the “VMAs” on Sunday. There’s a lineup of over 700 videos in 12 different categories, like Best of the 1980s, Best of the 1990s, Videos That Go Bump in the Night, Videos That Make Us Howl, and Best Celebrity Cameos.

The Daily Record says Gordon Ramsay recently underwent surgery to remove cancer from his face.  The celebrity chef shared a photo and urged followers to remember sunscreen. Fans flooded his post with well wishes and support for a swift recovery.

Netflix Opening Netflix Houses: KHON says Netflix is planning to open “Netflix Houses” in multiple U.S. cities. The houses are designed to offer immersive experiences for popular Netflix shows. Visitors will be able to enjoy themed activities, interactive exhibits, and exclusive merchandise.

The NY Post says Michael Jordan, Mia Hamm, Lawrence Taylor, Julius Peppers and country stars Eric Church and Chase Rice attended Bill Belichick’s UNC coaching debut last night in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. TCU beat North Carolina 48-14 

Female First says Kevin Costner is in a casual romance with director Kelly Noonan Gores. A source tells PEOPLE, “They met through mutual friends. Kelly is seeing Kevin, but it’s very casual. She thinks he’s wonderful and interesting.”

WVNS says farmers in Washington state are using drones to play music from AC/DC and Scarlett Johansson’s voice to deter wolves from attacking cattle. The drones also use flashing lights and loud noises to scare off the predators. Rancher Len McIrvin says the method has been successful in reducing livestock losses.

TMZ says Darth Vader’s iconic lightsaber, used in “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi,” is set to be auctioned off. The starting bid is $500K. The COO of Prop Store predicts it will fetch a high sum, possibly exceeding $1 million. 

Blake Shelton allegedly dissed his former show ‘’The Voice’’ while promoting his new CBS reality TV show, ‘’The Road’’. He tells TV Insider that “The Road” isn’t just another stage show where people sing cover songs. “Sleeping on buses, playing for crowds that didn’t buy a ticket to see you, writing songs that may or may not pay the bills. That’s real.”

Bailey Zimmerman tells People magazine that chocolate milk and breaks with his dogs keep him grounded. “To help get through the day I drink chocolate milk when I’m not supposed to. That’s a real thing. That’s one of the things that I do during the day to help me get through. I would say that and allotted breaks with Marley and Pie. Breaks and chocolate milk, you know? I got dirt bikes on the property. So ride dirt bikes, play with Marley, swim in the pool…and then get back.”

Russell Dickerson was recently doing an interview for Music Mayhem magazine when he said balancing touring and marriage is part of life on the road. “Whether at home or on the road, you gotta make time for each other. If she’s on the bus with me, we spend the night talking and connecting. If we’re apart, I call her every night after the show to talk about what happened during the day.”

Lainey Wilson tells People magazine that carving out quality time is a non-negotiable in her relationship. “You have to definitely carve out the time… I’ve got a day off here in 10 days. I’ve got to dedicate that day to spend time with my person.” Lainey said that people impersonate her all the time in order to scam people online.  Here she is explaining how it happens.

Dwayne ‘’The Rock’’ Johnson’s new movie, “The Smashing Machine”, debuted over the weekend at the Venice Film Festival. The film received a 15-minute standing ovation after it was done. The movie is about UFC star Mark Kerr, a former wrestler who competed in mixed martial arts between 1997 and 2009. The Rock weighed 300 pounds when he filmed the movie. He’s lost 60 and now weighs 240. Dwayne’s film, ‘The Smashing Machine’, opens in theaters on Friday, October 3rd.

A flower shop in Telluride, Colorado knew Jeremy Allen White would be in town for the annual film festival, so they put out a sign inviting him to stop by.  And he did.  (Jeremy loves flowers, you know.)

RadarOnline.com says a fierce battle is allegedly looming over Hulk Hogan’s $25 million fortune. His adult children Brooke and Nick Hogan may go head-to-head with his wives and creditors over his estate. A source tells the outlet, “It’s a total fiasco. The legal battle to come will likely dwarf any of the fights Hulk actually fought in his career. It’s going to get ugly and bitter and very nasty – and probably drag on for years.”

Geo TV says Tom Brady is allegedly down in the dumps because of how happy ex-wife Giselle Bundchen is with her new partner Joaquim Valente. A source says,  “He’s trying to put on a brave front, but he’s sulking in private. Gisele’s refurbished home and perfect life with her martial arts hunk and their new baby, it gets him down.”
