In Minnesota, four organ recipients gathered with the mother of 20-year-old Adelyn Miller, who died in a 2023 car crash, to pay tribute to her lifesaving gift. Adelyn was an organ donor, and her decision ultimately saved five people. At the gathering, four of those recipients spoke about how her generosity gave them a second chance at life. While one recipient wasn’t able to attend, all five of Adelyn’s donated organs went to people in need — including her heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs. The emotional tribute highlighted the impact one donor can make, as Adelyn’s legacy now lives on through the lives she saved.
