TMZ says Janet Jackson is allegedly embroiled in a feud with her brother Jermaine over the “Michael” biopic. Janet was critical of the film, while Jermaine supported it. Janet’s jealousy towards Michael is playing a significant role in the conflict. A source says, “She had something negative about almost every scene. The acting, the makeup, how the actors spoke, even how they walked. It was Janet deciding against the room that this movie wasn’t going to meet her approval.” “Michael” hits theaters next month, on April 24th. (Here’s the trailer.)
Kelly Clarkson is undeniably one of the most successful contestants to ever win “American Idol”. But she says she never received the prizes she was promised on Season 1. Kelly shared this during a conversation with “Traitors” winner Rob Rausch (who still hasn’t been paid his winnings) and Daniel Radcliffe. She said, quote, “I literally was on the show, and they were like, ‘Oh, you win a $1 million’ or whatever. No, you didn’t. It was, like, a million dollars’ worth of investment in you. “And then they said you get a car, and I needed it ’cause my car was bashed in, and I couldn’t afford the deductible. I did not get a car. And then Clay Aiken, who didn’t win the second season, got a car and his mom [also got a car]!” (You can watch the interview here. Go to 5:41 for the beginning of Kelly’s comments. And, to be fair, that “investment” in Kelly’s career paid off HUGE. So maybe that was the right way to get that million.)
Page Six says Nicole Kidman was allegedly grossed out kissing Alexander Skarsgård on “Big Little Lies” because he ate a falafel before their romantic scenes. She says, “When Alexander Skarsgård ate a falafel sandwich before we did the scenes in Big Little Lies. I’m like, ‘No, no, no, Alex. I’m meant to be kissing you and into you. Put away the falafel. Now.’ I’m sure he did not eat a falafel ever again. I said, ‘No more falafel. Nope. Not before you kiss. Not before you make love. No more falafel. Put the falafel away.’”
Kacey Musgraves released the video for “Dry Spell” yesterday, from her upcoming album, “Middle of Nowhere”. The song was inspired by her own long time without intimacy. (Yes, Kacey and Miranda have buried the hatchet. More on that here.) (You can see the video for “Dry Spell” here.)
RadarOnline.com says Jon Bon Jovi is allegedly being mocked online for the new biopic about his band. Industry insiders say, “Studios keep returning to the same formula because a few big titles made huge money. But when people hear there’s another rock legend movie coming, the first reaction now is basically: ‘Not another celebrity music biopic.’ The songs are iconic, but audiences have been inundated with these projects, so the challenge is convincing people this one offers something genuinely new. If you strip it down, every studio is chasing the same lightning strike that made Bohemian Rhapsody such a phenomenon.”
Lainey Wilson will be making her feature film debut on Friday in “Reminders of Him”. At the premiere Monday night, she shared her favorite part of about the movie was getting to work with everyone. There was always someone in my life, and so many things that I felt like were out of my control.”
RadarOnline.com claims Cher’s shocking Grammy gaffe allegedly has her friends urging her to act her age and take it easy due to her exhausted state. A source says, “Ever since Alex came onto the scene, Cher’s felt compelled to push herself into this fast-paced, jet-setting party scene, but it’s asking way too much of her to keep up with him and other kids who are well over half her age. She’s getting by on fumes and it shows, not just with her garbled sentences and slurred speech but also the fact she’s out of breath and often complaining about dizziness and exhaustion. Don’t forget she’s had major health issues in years gone by. That fragility is something still there and she’s only compounding her troubles by stretching herself way too thin. Fact is, she’s struggling to sustain live vocals the way she used to. People around her worry that the years of nonstop touring, late nights and hard living have taken a toll that she simply can’t recover from.”

What I’m grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That’s that. Everything else I don’t discuss out of respect. I’m staying in a place of, ‘We are a family,’ and that’s what we’ll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women.”
Jelly Roll tells TV Shows Ace that being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry is an honor he believes he doesn’t deserve. “I don’t deserve this. I don’t deserve to be on this stage. I don’t deserve the grace that God gave me, but I think that’s the best part. None of us do. And yet, he gives it all the time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can show up on his doorstep with all of your problems. He said, ‘it’s okay’.”
