Matthew McConaughey is going on a book tour and bringing along famous artists to each different city.  For his Tulsa, Oklahoma stop, Matthew is bringing out Zach Bryan. If you don’t remember, Zach got Matthew to star in his 2024 music video for “Nine Ball”. The Oscar winner is launching a book tour for his new project, “Poems & Prayers”, which is being released on September 16th.  It’s focused on faith, reflection, and spiritual storytelling. Matthew’s book tour will hit up Brooklyn . . . Nashville . . . Tulsa . . . Los Angeles . . . and Austin.  Matthew and Zach will be performing in Tulsa on September 19th.

The new “Saturday Night Live” cast will be announced in about a week, and Lorne Michaels is promising to shake things up.  Only ONE cast member is confirmed to return for the upcoming season, and it’s NOT Kenan Thompson…it’s James Austin Johnson, who plays President Trump. (On a related note, Lorne also says he would have asked Sinead O’Connor to sing on the SNL 50 special if she were still alive.)

The Coldplay jumbotron controversy is the gift that keeps on giving. A guy wanted to propose on the jumbotron at a Coldplay concert, but Chris Martin asked him several questions first, including, quote, “Is this person your partner?  Yes?  No one else’s partner?” After the guy “passed” the test, Chris sang the couple through the proposal.  (Here’s video.)

Forbes Magazine says “Happy Gilmore 2” set a new streaming record last month. People viewed the film a combined 2.893 billion minutes in its first week. This surpasses the previous record held by “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.”

Lainey Wilson says one of the downsides of fame is no longer being a regular country music fan. Country Thang Daily quotes her as saying, “If there’s anything that I miss more than anything, it is being a fan out in the crowd. I miss that so much. But when I think about me as a fan, I think about how hard it was for me to buy that ticket and how hard it was for me to get to that show and make the arrangements and buy the hotel room.”

Luke Combs tells Extra that he is open to recording with Taylor Swift. “It’d be fun… Yeah, that would be a good time. “I got to meet her recently. She was in town for that. She was really, really great.”

The NY Post says a fan grabbed Maren Morris’s butt during a recent meet and greet. She posted; “Hi y’all. Tonight’s show was so fun, but someone grabbed my *** during [the] meet-and-greet before the show. Thomas Rhett was doing a recent interview with CountryNow.com when he said he indulges in comfort food without guilt. “I love a good piece of pizza. I love a good hamburger. If I don’t let myself have those things, there’s going to be a week where I just go off the deep end and eat nothing but that.”

The Daily Mail says Lionel Richie was home when a burglar recently broke into his Beverly Hills mansion at midnight. Police caught Michael John Bond.  He fled empty-handed. Witnesses say the security alarm scared Bond away.

RadarOnline.com says Jennifer Aniston is allegedly upping her plastic surgery game to keep up with her younger boyfriend, Jim Curtis. An insider reveals, “Jen is enjoying Jim’s calming company and everything about him, but he is six years younger and quite good looking, and being with him has intensified all her insecurities about her looks. She’s paranoid about aging, so she’s ramping up the surgery. She wants a boob lift at the very least, and she’s contemplating a fat transfer to her bum. She’d like to do something about the skin on her neck, which looks a little loose to her. She gets more work done than people imagine.”

Naughty but Nice says Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s romance was allegedly a marketing ploy for their movie, “The Naked Gun”. Sources say, “Their chemistry was real on camera, but off? It was strictly business. Pamela Anderson is a pro, Liam Neeson is a pro — they knew leaning into the rumors would get attention. That’s because there was never a relationship to begin with. She Knows claims Jennifer Lopez is allegedly planning to use a Matchmaker to find her next partner. A source says, “There are only a handful of matchmakers in the world that cater to the top one percent, so they’re very pricey. We’re talking upwards of a million dollars, but J.Lo has been told by a number of people that it’s worth spending the money. She’s ready to sign up and get some help.”

Geo TV, citing The Globe claims Ben Affleck allegedly chafed Tom Cruise by reaching out to Ana de Armas. Ana and Ben once dated. A source says, He doesn’t trust Ben and he doesn’t like the idea of him creeping around. As far as Tom is concerned, Ben ought to respect boundaries and not poke his nose where it doesn’t belong.’’

The National Enquirer says Hugh Jackman is allegedly waiting to propose to his “Music Man” co-star Sutton Foster because her divorce has yet to be finalized. The Daily Mail says Jessica Alba’s ex-husband, Cash Warren, was seen with his new girlfriend in Los Angeles. The 46-year-old and his 26-year-old companion were spotted holding hands and kissing in Beverly Hills.  They were photographed leaving a popular Italian restaurant together.

The Globe says Tom Cruise is allegedly moving fast in his relationship with Ana de Armas. A source says, “It’s only been a few months, but Tom moves fast. When he wants something, he wants it now. He sees no reason to wait to move in together and he’s clearly convinced Ana of the same thing. He’s totally swept her off her feet with the grand romantic gestures. She’s in awe of him. Finding a place to live together is further proof this is the real deal, to them at least.”
