This is the nerdiest thing you’ll hear today:  This past Tuesday was “Pythagorean Triple Square Day.”  And it won’t happen again this century. The date was 09-16-25 . . . and the square roots of those numbers make up the Pythagorean triple:  3-squared PLUS 4-squared EQUALS 5-squared.

The U.S. has the highest drinking age in North or South America, set at 21. The next closest is Paraguay, at 20. Most other countries in the Americas — including Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, and Chile — have a minimum drinking age of 18. A few nations, such as Cuba, Nicaragua, and Panama, don’t have a legally defined drinking age at all, though they may restrict alcohol sales to minors.

The United States military has a MAXIMUM height cutoff.  No one over 6-foot-8 can enlist.
