Martina McBride has been a powerhouse on stage for decades, but she’s also making a name for herself in the kitchen. She shared a great hack for keeping cucumbers fresher for longer.  Basically, you wrap each cucumber in a paper towel, and store them in a plastic bag with holes poked in it for airflow. Dolly Parton is the author of several books, a line of baking kits, and has a new hotel coming to Nashville. . . but this achievement might stand above them all.  Dolly now has her own signature flavor of Coca-Cola. It’s said to have a creamy, cherry taste. But you’re going to have to travel to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee if you want to try it.  Because it’s only available inside Dollywood. William Shatner is writing a new book, and he wants to interview YOU.  Well, maybe.  The book is called “William Shatner . . . And You”.  It’ll feature personal reflections from fans on how his work touched them. He’s asking people to submit stories about how he’s influenced their lives.  And if he chooses yours to include in the book, he will personally interview you, and that conversation may be included, too. “William Shatner . . . And You” is due out late next year. The only catch is that you have to pre-order the book if you want to submit your story.  Then again, if Shatner means that much to you, you were probably going to order it anyway. 

The News International says Sinead O’Connor’s biopic is in the works. Natalie Portman has allegedly been chosen to play Sinead.  A source says, “They think she is the spit of Sinéad in terms of her physicality but as an actress, they know she has the strength and power to do justice to Sinéad.” The Irish singer passed away in July 2023 at the age of 56.  The film is expected to be based on her autobiography “Rememberings.”

The Daily Mail says Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are ready for kids and marriage. A source says, “They like watching movies and cooking. Taylor has been loving the quiet, normal days with Travis. This time together solidified Taylor knowing that she wants to be with Travis forever. ‘They want to be married and have kids in the future. They’re both genuinely ready for that chapter.’ 

Tyler Hubbard was recently doing an interview for People magazine when he said balancing music and family life is a rewarding challenge. “Balancing music and family life is challenge sometimes, but it’s a fun, rewarding challenge.”

RadarOnline.com says Jennifer Aniston has allegedly transformed her mansion into a spiritual fortress filled with crystals to keep her safe after her terrifying stalker incident. An insider reveals, “Jennifer is now into white witch-style ways to ward off evil spirits from her home. She thinks that, combined with her increased security, will keep her safe.”

Morgan Wallen tells CountryNow.com that he values simple things like sitting on a porch and talking with longtime friends. “Some of my favorite memories are just me and the boys on a porch somewhere talkin’ about life. I never want to get too busy to do that.”

Coldplay’s Chris Martin tells The News International that he relates to Homer Simpson.  “I have to say Homer Simpson. I just think he’s one of the most beautifully constructed characters in all of creativity because he’s so human and does stupid things and makes mistakes, but his heart is good. He’ll always make the right decision in the end. He’s angry and full of all the emotions, but ultimately he will always do the right thing.”

RadarOnline.com says Sylvester Stallone was allegedly furious that Ryan Gosling didn’t get the lead role in the new Rambo reboot. Noah Centineo got the part instead. A source says,  “Sly had his eye on Ryan for years to take the part, and thinks he would have been a far better fit than Noah. He’s basically raging it’s going ahead without a Hollywood heavyweight attached. Sylvester was raging when he found out the studio had gone with Noah instead. He felt Ryan brought a depth and edge that would have honored the legacy, while Noah – in his eyes – just doesn’t carry the same gravitas. It’s not personal against Noah, but Sly’s fiercely protective of Rambo. Sly sees Rambo as more than an action hero – he’s a symbol of survival and grit. Ryan Gosling would have approached it from a place of reverence and brought some gravitas to it after all the criticism the franchise has received, and that’s what Sly wanted. The decision to go with Noah was seen as chasing a younger demographic, but that’s not the audience that built the Rambo legacy.”

The Globe says Meghan Markle is allegedly eager to collaborate with Kim Kardashian on a business venture. A source shares, “Meghan’s gotten very tight with Kris. She’s someone who she goes to for business advice, but that doesn’t mean Meghan is automatically going to get to collaborate with Kim. She’s going to have to prove that teaming up would be a benefit for Kim’s brand and not just her own. Meghan is confident that a joint project with Kim would be a win for both of them. With their combined star power, she’s sure they could do massive sales. She thinks something wellness-focused could be the sweet spot.”

Jackson Dean tells CMT that he’s always connected with people older than him and developed faster than his peers through spending time working and out in nature. “I always liked hanging with the older folks… I grew up pretty quick and I led a different kind of life than what the kids in my hometown were doing, just as far as working and being in the woods as much as I was.”

A source says, ‘Orlando’s new house screams, “I’m filthy rich and single”. ‘The house is a proper bachelor pad and perfect for parties and entertaining. Orlando is surrounded by other famous people, too. Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker live just down the road, as well as Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. Kevin Costner lives on the same street, too. It’s right on the beach and Orlando has been seen there loads in the past few weeks. He seems to be settling right in and has already made friends with his direct neighbors.”

The Globe says Jelly Roll is allegedly risking his health by wrestling for the WWE.  A source reveals, “His friends are urging him to stop this now, but Jelly’s hellbent on continuing the wrestling. It’s a natural high he can’t seem to get enough of. Jelly may be off the hard drugs, but he’s craving the thrill ride just the same and it’s bound to do some harm unless he stops now. But try talking Jelly into that. He loves the attention and adulation from the fans.

A source says, “Kourtney’s been distancing herself for a while now, and she feels it’s better that way. She thinks the whole fame game has gotten out of control, and she’s not interested in being part of the circus anymore. She’s all for looking glam when the time is right, but she’s leaned into a much more low-key, grounded lifestyle since marrying Travis and becoming a mom again. Her priorities have totally shifted. She’s focusing on family – not worrying about how she looks on Instagram. She’s just over it and believes her sisters would be happier, too, if they followed her lead. They’re constantly filming or getting ready to film – or editing pictures from whatever they just filmed. It’s a narcissistic merry-go-round. It makes Kourtney sick. That’s why she’s taken a step back from The Kardashians. She has more important things to do with her precious time.”
