An asteroid, the size of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, is heading towards Earth.  The asteroid, named 2025 OW, will come within 393,000 miles of our planet on Monday. NASA says there’s no risk.  Scientists are still closely monitoring the asteroid’s trajectory to ensure it safely passes by.

Uber is testing a new feature that allows women to choose female drivers and riders. The pilot program is being rolled out in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Detroit. Women can opt in to be matched with female drivers by selecting the Women Drivers option in the app. 

Tinder is now using AI to help users choose their best profile picture.  The app scans photos and then predicts which ones will attract the most attention, and right swipes. The new technology is designed to pick out your most swipeable selfies 

The TSA is pleading with travelers to stop concealing animals in strange places  when passing through airport security. One woman recently tried to smuggle two live turtles in her chest area. Another incident involved a man with a turtle hidden in his pants. A TSA official stated, “I believe this is the first time we have come across someone who was concealing a live animal down the front of his pants.”

A school district in Tennessee has made the controversial decision to STOP excusing absences with doctor’s notes.  Kids will be marked present or absent . . . and will face punishments for absences, sick or not.
