Luke Combs tells Whiskey Riff that surpassing Garth Brooks as the highest-selling country artist of all time is a humbling achievement. “When my team first told me about this, my initial reaction was, ‘Are you sure? There’s no way.’ It was only 8 years ago that I got my first plaque for ‘Hurricane’ going Gold.” Combs now holds the record with 168 million albums sold, surpassing Brooks’ old record of 162.5 million.

The Daily Mail says Travis Kelce celebrated his 36th birthday by watching Taylor Swift’s new movie “The Official Release Party of a Show Girl.” The football star appeared happy alongside his mother at a Jacksonville, Florida theater. Swift’s film debuted at No. 1 with $33 million. 

99-year-old Dick Van Dyke stays pretty lighthearted about his own mortality.  He’ll be turning 100 on December 13th, and during a fan event on Sunday he joked, quote, “It’d be funny if I didn’t make it.” Dick added, quote, “I brag sometimes about how I made it to a hundred and the truth is, if I had known I was going to live this long, I would’ve taken better care of myself. “And it is frustrating because I don’t know what I did right.  Other than [my wife], I didn’t do anything right.” Dick and his wife Arlene have been married since 2012.  She’s a 54-year-old whippersnapper.

The E News Network says Tim McGraw wished Faith Hill a happy 29th wedding anniversary yesterday with the following post: “On this day Oct 6 1996, I was on cloud 9! I was marrying the girl of my dreams, she was everything, my complete soulmate! We have been through so much together, our girls growing up, me trying to grow up, and you, you, you, always there, always there for all of us when we fell, always you when we triumphed, always you. When we love, when we live, when we think of how to love, live and dream, always you. You are my girl, I love you with a fire that grows each passing year.”

OK! magazine says Keith Urban was allegedly angry during a recent concert and changed the words to his 2002 breakup anthem “You’ll Think of Me.” He sang,  “Take your memories, I don’t need ’em / Take your space and all your stupid b—— reasons. You shouldn’t have treated me this way.” Keith should have sang, “Take your memories, I don’t need ’em / Take your space and take your reasons.” 

SheKnows says friends of Nicole Kidman are allegedly questioning why Keith Urban wants to publicly embarrass her following their split. An insider says, “Keith looks as if he’s out to try to publicly embarrass and hurt Nic. He’s always been the quieter one, but now that seems to have changed. This is a total 180 from the Keith I know. It seems like a switch has gone off in his head to awaken this vitriol he appears to have for her.’’

RadarOnline says Nicole Kidman is allegedly trying to keep the peace with estranged husband Keith Urban as she fears a messy divorce might affect her Hollywood fortune.  A source says, “Nicole is doing everything she can to avoid confrontation. She’s terrified that if this turns ugly, Keith could come after her financially – and that could devastate everything she’s built. She’s proud of what she’s achieved – from The Hours to Big Little Lies – and she’s worked for every cent. Even with a pre-nup in place, she worries he might challenge parts of it. That’s why she’s so desperate to keep things civil. Nicole never wanted things to end like this. She tried hard to hold the marriage together, but eventually she had to accept that they’d drifted beyond repair.”

Keith pulled his song “The Fighter” from his setlist.  This song was inspired by Nicole, so it made news when he changed the lyrics to focus on his guitarist Maggie Baugh instead.  But that didn’t go over well with fans, so he has now just replaced the song altogether. And Maggie was absent for that first show back, too. She usually joins Keith on stage . . . and she could have been out for a variety of reasons, but it’s only added fuel to the rumor mill. (Maggie broke her silence yesterday by posting a black screen to her Instagram, with the caption “Announcement coming soon.”) And eagle-eyed fans noticed Keith wasn’t wearing his wedding ring. Keith’s High and Alive Tour continues through October 17th.  It wraps in Nashville . . . but don’t expect to see Nicole in the audience.

The NY Post says Hilaria Baldwin recently clapped back at an Instagram follower that questioned why she hasn’t been wearing her wedding ring on “Dancing with the Stars.” Hilaria filmed herself holding a stuffed version of Alec’s famous “Beetlejuice” character and captioned the clip, “Don’t worry Cammy. Got my Alec stand-in here while he is gone working. And my ring is right here … tho I don’t wear to practice because it hurts with the crazy stuff we are doing.”

The Daily Mail says Ana de Armas was allegedly seen posing with a mystery man in Paris. She has not been seen with Tom Cruise for 10 weeks.  The actress has been enjoying Paris Fashion Week and was last spotted with Cruise in late July in Vermont.
