When most 5-year-olds are asking for superhero or cartoon-themed parties, Ryan Ramos from New Jersey had something a little more presidential in mind — a Jimmy Carter birthday. Ryan has been fascinated by the 39th president ever since learning that Carter built homes for families in need through Habitat for Humanity.

So when Habitat for Humanity heard about Ryan’s unique birthday wish, they decided to make his day extra special. The organization sent the young fan a box full of Jimmy Carter and Habitat gear — complete with a hard hat, t-shirt, stickers, and even a few tools fit for a little builder.
