Lifesaver at the Top of the World: Everest Defibrillator Already Saves a Life
The founder of Code Blue CPR made headlines in April after climbing Mount Everest to install a defibrillator at Base Camp—over 16,500 feet above sea level. He called it the highest defibrillator in the world. Just three weeks after returning home, he got word it had already been used. A 30-year-old French woman suffered a heart attack at Base Camp, and the device helped save her life. The founder called it the “proudest moment” of his life.
