Leno Wants Classic Cars to Breathe Easy

Jay Leno has 181 cars—about 151 are too old to pass California smog checks. So he’s backing “Leno’s Law” to give classic cars a pass. It stalled last year, but a revised version may cruise through. The catch: the cars can’t be daily drivers—which is fine, since Leno says they only come out for weekends and show-offs.

OK! Magazine says Meghan Markle allegedly believed she could be the next queen after King Charles’ death. British author Tom Bower discusses this in his new book ‘’Betrayal.’’ The book says Meghan thought she should be queen ahead of Kate Middleton because she felt she was better looking, smarter and harder working. Bower says, “This establishment figure reported to the Queen that Megan thinks that once she marries into the royal family, she’s going to be God. Which is pretty hilarious, but clearly, she believed it. Clearly, she thought… I’ve come to the conclusion, with the help of others on the inside, that she really thought she, rather than Kate [Middleton], should be the next queen after Charles. She couldn’t understand why she was better looking, and in her view, more intelligent, harder working, and everything, should be the queen. And she hated the idea that she and Harry were relegated so far down the order. She got everything she wanted and then knew what she wanted and couldn’t get, and that was a lot. That’s why, of course, she never intended to stay.”

Tucker Wetmore tells CountryNow.com that he prefers relaxed environments over high-energy scenes. “I’m way more comfortable in a laid-back setting. That’s where I can actually be myself and not feel like I have to be ‘on’ all the time. I love playing the big venues, but when I’m not playing, I love the quiet of being outside by myself on my property.”

Thomas Rhett tells People magazine that he still dates his wife even though they’ve been together for 13 years as an official couple. “I’ve heard this for so long, but I think learning how to date your wife even when you’re, you know, five years, 10 years in,” he continued. “Because I do think it’s really easy, especially as kids start coming into the picture, to become roommates, or just like joint parenting partners, you know what I’m saying?”

The police report from Tiger Woods’ arrest was filed yesterday.  Here’s what we learned from it: Tiger told the cops he was looking down at his phone just before the crash.  But he showed signs of impairment and failed a series of roadside sobriety tests. Police say his eyes were “bloodshot and glassy” and his pupils were “extremely dilated.” They found two hydrocodone pills in his pants pocket.  They were “collected and submitted into evidence.”  He admitted to taking medications for high blood pressure and cholesterol, plus ibuprofen and Vicodin. Here’s the kicker:  A copy of Tiger’s driver’s license is included with the report, and it has the words “Safe Driver” on it. This means that Tiger had a clean driving record for at least three years.  His last crash was in 2021.
