Leading Ladies: Lainey, Megan & Ella Top CMA Noms
The CMAs just dropped their 2025 nominations, and the props belong to three women who dominated the ballot . . . Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney and Ella Langley. Each picked up six nominations, the most of any artist this year. The 59th Annual CMA Awards go down on November 19th on ABC. (Here’s a list of snubs and surprises. And you can check the full nomination list here.)
Post Malone tells GQ magazine that he may wrestle Seth Rollins at WrestleMania. “I think me and Seth Rollins got beef—you can put that on paper, too. You, me, Seth Rollins. WrestleMania 2026. Come on, baby. I’ve always wanted to do that. I figured if I had a different musculature and different career path, I would love to have been a WWE wrestler.”
Jelly Roll was nominated for four VMAs and Post Malone was nominated for one. Neither of them won . . . but they did get to sing their song “Losers”. They delivered their performance live from Hanover, Germany, where they’re currently on their Big Ass Stadium Tour.
ESPN says Mike Tyson is set to return to the stage with his one-man show, “Return of the Mike”. He will be performing at four Hard Rock Live venues in the U.S. Tyson will share personal stories and reflections on his life, including battles with addiction and mental health.
Scotty McCreery tells Southern Living magazine that he’s grown more confident in the kitchen, often experimenting with his cast-iron skillet and embracing new culinary challenges. “I do love to cook. I keep the cast iron out in the kitchen, and we try all sorts of meals. It’s something that used to intimidate me, probably even just five years ago, but I’ve started to be like, ‘Let me try this and try that.’ And my wife’s family is all from Louisiana, too, so they’ve got a whole nother style of cooking down there that I like to try as well.”
Shaboozey tells People magazine that the most important advice Beyoncé shared with him was to embrace his uniqueness. “When I was recording the songs on her album, [I was like], ‘Oh man, I can’t do these runs’ or ‘I am nowhere near the vocalist, performer or anything Beyoncé is.’ What they told me was, ‘Hey, we brought you here for you to do you.’ Just be yourself. Just be confident in the fact that you are different, you are unique and that’s what people are going to resonate with.”
Keith Urban says he always drives himself to his concerts. Parade Magazine quotes him as saying, “I drive. I drove to the gig the other night, and someone asked [me], ‘How come you drive yourself?’ I said, ‘I always drive myself.’ Somebody driving me is like somebody playing my guitar. I’d rather be doing it.”
WLKY says a life-size hologram of Dierks Bentley will greet travelers at the Louisville airport. Bentley will beam in live from Nashville to talk to travelers. Airport officials call it a “one-of-a-kind experience” that will promote his ROW 94 Whiskey.
The National Enquirer says Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas are allegedly considering an extravagant wedding, possibly underwater or in space. A source reveals, “One of the things that really bonds them is how much they both love doing these daring feats, so having a wedding that leans into that really appeals to both of them. Tom is already thinking on a larger-than-life scale. He’s obsessed with space travel, so the idea of being the first couple to ever marry in outer space excites him. They’ve also talked about some sort of skydiving thing, saying their vows mid-air. Whatever they do, they want it to be as far from ordinary as you can get.”
RadarOnline.com says Meghan Markle allegedly hopes to collaborate with Kim Kardashian as her businesses struggle. An insider reveals, “Meghan’s gotten very tight with Kris. She’s someone who she goes to for business advice, but that doesn’t mean Meghan is automatically going to get to collaborate with Kim. She’s going to have to prove that teaming up would be a benefit for Kim’s brand – and not just her own. Meghan is confident that a joint project with Kim would be a win for both of them. With their combined star power, she’s sure they could do massive sales. She thinks something wellness-focused could be the sweet spot. Meghan is obsessed with clean beauty, skincare and home rituals – and thinks that would pair perfectly with the SKIMS aesthetic. But Kim is cautious. She’s incredibly protective of her brand and doesn’t just jump into partnerships – no matter how famous the other person is. Meghan will have to bring more than just her name to the table, but she’s determined to make this happen and isn’t backing off.”
The News International says Kelly Osbourne has found solace in falconry after her father’s passing. She has been sharing videos of herself catching falcons and owls. Kelly posted; “I never thought I would find my smile again through falconry but I did. I absolutely love being with the birds”
The National Enquirer says Reese Witherspoon isn’t rushing into marriage with Oliver Haarmann. An insider reveals, “The number one thing you have to know about Reese is that being a mom is way more important to her than whatever is going on in her love life. She still has a young son to look after, and her two older kids are just finding their way into adulthood and are around the house all the time. That’s where a lot of her spare time is going, and Oliver has had to get used to that. Reese and Oliver are happy, and they love their romantic getaways, but there’s a lot of wait and see when it comes to what the future holds for the two of them.”
