Lainey Wilson has as strong of a southern twang as any artist in country music.  So, it’s funny listening to her talk about trying to tone it down. She was being interviewed and talked about a recent audition she had . . . where at the end they asked her to do it again, but without an accent. Luckily for her, she said most of the parts she’s going out for right now are okay with her accent.  I sure wish we could have heard her on tape with a normal accent though. Morgan Wallen just gave fans a rare peek into how he writes and records music, and it’s surprisingly methodical. He said, “We won’t even begin a song unless we already have a full concept and the payoff hook done at the beginning.  And then we’ll start at the first verse to write towards that hook.” (You can listen to Morgan break down his songwriting process here.)

The Fyre Festival is back . . . but not in festival form. There’s actually a play in the works called “Fyre Fest the Musical”.  It’s a comedy based on the debacle that was the original 2017 Fyre Festival. The producers include Rita Ora and her husband Taika Waititi, director of “JoJo Rabbit”, “What We Do in the Shadows”, and the last two “Thor” movies. (There’s still no word who bought the Fyre Festival on eBay, or if that person is involved in this….someone paid almost a quarter million back in July)

Ben Affleck is reportedly down in the dumps that Jennifer Garner is planning her wedding.  A source says, quote, “He was clinging to the hope she’d have second thoughts and call it off, but now that’s clearly not happening.”

E! News says Shaun White and Nina Dobrev have ended their engagement after five years together. A source says, “It was a mutual decision, and wasn’t an easy one, but it was made with love and a deep respect for one another.”

The Hollywood trend of using Ozempic or similar drugs to lose weight doesn’t seem to be fading anytime soon.  Even tennis star Serena Williams recently admitted to using a GLP-1 medication. Here’s a list of other celebrities who have admitted to using the drug.

Radar Online claims Ana de Armas is allegedly struggling with jealousy over Tom Cruise’s famous exes, Nicole Kidman and Katie Holmes. Sources say, “Ana is thrilled to be with Tom, but she can’t escape the shadow of Nicole and Katie. Every time their names come up, it eats away at her. She feels compared to them constantly, and it has made her insecure. When fans noticed Ana had recently liked a post mocking Nicole’s appearance, it looked like a swipe. She insisted it was accidental, but the timing was telling. The truth is, she has been consumed with jealousy about Nicole – it really rattles her. She wants to focus on the relationship and enjoy being happy, but the non-stop comparisons to Nicole and Katie wear her down. What she fears most is being seen as just another name on Tom’s list.”

United Press International says Hungarian ice skater Eszter Szombathelyi recently set a new world record by performing 136 rope skips in a minute on ice skates. Eszter surpassed her goal of 45. She aims to inspire other skaters.

Us Weekly says contrary to published reports, Carrie Underwood does not make $1 million a week for singing the Sunday Night Football theme song. Her actual salary for the song remains unknown.

The Star says Olivia Wilde was allegedly taken aback by the news that her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles is now dating her friend Zoe Kravitz. A source reveals, “It’s like, why her? Why does he have to date people she knows? It’s super awkward for her.”

Eric Church tells Time magazine that marriage is about loving someone even with all their imperfections. “True love to me is when you love a person in spite of all their fallibilities, and for me, I have a lot of ‘em. I’m definitely at times hard to love, and that’s what’s great about Katherine and the way she loves me. She loves me in spite of those things and really for those things.”

The Star says Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness is not keen on forgiving former friend Sutton Foster for now dating Hugh. A source tells the magazine, “Sutton and Debs were friends, they used to go on double dates and even hung out one-on-one. That’s why Sutton feels a tremendous sense of guilt. As she tells it, she didn’t intend to fall in love with Hugh. It just happened. Debs has made it very plain that she’s not interested in meeting and is disgusted by the relationship. Sutton’s going to persevere because she believes it’s important they have closure.”

Parker McCollum tells People magazine that becoming a father has been a life-changer, especially watching his son Major grow. “Everything that people said about having kids is a thousand percent true. Koe and I were just talking about that this morning. He’s a dad now, and that’s what we were talking about… I didn’t know what it was going to be like. I was mind blown when the day he came into this world and just had no idea what I was getting myself into.”

RadarOnline.com says Travis Kelce is allegedly planning to retire from the NFL to focus on starting a family with Taylor Swift. Sources reveal, “Travis anticipates he will hang it up after this season. No matter how hard that decision will be, he has a lot to look forward to in TV and in life – and he has his brother and Taylor to thank for that. His brother has been so busy on TV and, as sad as it was to leave the game, he figured it out and there is a light at the end of the tunnel. With Taylor, she is not forcing his hand in any way and wants him to make his own decision.”

Russell Dickerson was doing a recent interview for US Weekly magazine when he said life on tour with his wife and kids is chaotic but deeply rewarding. “It’s in shambles, actually, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. We’ve had the absolute year of our lives.”

Thomas Rhett was doing a recent interview for Southern Living magazine when he said consistency is key in raising his daughters. “Consistency is a thing me and Lauren both learned early … When it’s consistent of like it’s a yay or a nay, I think that’s what my kids love about me and Lauren.”

Geo TV says Ben Affleck is allegedly hoping for a chance to reconcile with Jennifer Garner even though she may marry John Miller. A source reveals, “He never expected Jen to move on completely, and deep down is still hoping things might change. For now, he’s having to accept the reality and move on. He was clinging to the hope she’d have second thoughts and call it off, but now that’s clearly not happening. He has to get his head around the fact she’ll be officially wed and tied down to someone else who’s going to be living under the same roof and spending time with his kids.’’

Nate Smith tells People magazine that self-love helped him reconnect with others. “It’s a concept I heard a million times: ‘You gotta love yourself before you love someone else,’ but it’s kinda true. Because I’m not so insecure about myself, it’s helped me be more present. And it’s changed the way I can love people. I feel free.”

Geo TV says Denise Richards’ return to ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ has allegedly ruffled feathers among her castmates. A source reveals, “People like Sutton and Erika are going along with it on the surface – they came out in support of Denise in her divorce – but behind the scenes they’re griping, too. They all find it annoying that Denise is throwing herself around and bringing in all the drama again while trying to be queen bee. The stories were so lurid that bosses just had to get her back on. The show calls for these big heavy storylines – it needs to be edgy. RHOBH may be the most watched of the Housewives shows, but the fact remains the ratings are still down and the whole franchise is sliding off a cliff. Producers are desperate to save it, and Denise’s drama with Aaron proved too irresistible to pass up, but “most of the Beverly Hills gals aren’t happy about it. Denise burned a lot of bridges the last time she was on, and the ladies thought she was too much drama and a pain in the butt, not to mention self-serving and whiny. Now here she is stealing all the headlines again.”
