In 150 races, there have been THREE fillies, or female horses, to win the Kentucky Derby:  Regret in 1915, Genuine Risk in 1980, and Winning Colors in 1988.  The last time a filly raced was in 2010 . . . and no fillies will take part in tomorrow’s Derby.

The exclamation point didn’t become a standard key on the keyboard until 1970.  Before that, you had to type a period, and then use the backspace to go back and stick an apostrophe above it.
