Kim Kardashian’s Courtroom Couture: $7M Edition
Kim Kardashian wore $7 million in diamonds to testify against the men who tied her up and stole her jewelry in Paris in 2016. She said she believed she was going to die that night, and told the robbers that she had babies and needed to live. (Some sites are reporting the necklace to be $1.5 million.)
Miley Cyrus is in the news for the advice she gave fans during the listening party for her new album in New York last week. Actually, it was advice she REPEATED. She said the best piece of advice she’s ever gotten came from her godmother Dolly Parton. Quote, “You do you, and I’ll do me. And together, we’ll be us.” In other words, be yourself and let everyone else do the same. The “us” is how we coexist even when we’re different. (Here’s the video.)
Airbnb isn’t just for renting houses anymore. Founder and CEO Brian Chesky announced that they’re adding new services. These include things like massages and personal training, plus experiences tailored to specific locations . . . like a pastry-making class in Paris or a gallery tour in New York City. Oh, and you’ll also be able to rent CELEBRITIES. Chesky says he has dozens of famous people ready to participate. Initial offerings will include a day playing football and eating barbecue with Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and day-long experiences with Sabrina Carpenter and Megan Thee Stallion.

George Strait turns 73 this Sunday and just hinted at when he might finally RETIRE from touring. At his show in Philly this weekend, he said he might have “five good years” left to keep doing live shows. His first studio album “Strait Country” came out 44 years ago in 1981. But he’s been playing shows since he was in the Army in the early ’70s. So, OVER 50 years. (Here’s the video.) (He’s still putting butts in seats, by the way. He broke a U.S. record last summer when over 110,000 fans turned out for a show at Texas A&M.)
Kane Brown was recently doing an interview with People magazine when he said his daughter had a humorous take on making money. “We were taking her to Disney and told her it was her birthday present. We explained that not everyone gets to go to Disney because it’s expensive. She looked at us and asked, ‘Why don’t they just sing?’ It was the funniest thing.”
One of the stars of “Happy Gilmore” passed away recently. Nobody knows how old he was, but he was estimated to be at least 80, and may have been as old as 100 and will be taxidermied to continue scaring children. The Sun says Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos are planning to have their wedding at an open-air theater on a Venetian island next month.
