Kacey Musgraves latest Nashville appearance threw some for a loop. They thought they paid for tickets to a Kacey Musgraves concert at the Ryman Auditorium.  But instead, it was a live taping of a podcast about mushrooms. It was part of the “Sing for Science” podcast, and it was focused on how psychedelic experiences have shaped Kacey’s music. But it was at the Ryman Auditorium, so you can see why people were confused thinking it was a concert. 

A man got arrested after jumping a fence at Travis Kelce’s home in Kansas.  He was trying to serve Taylor Swift deposition papers in the Blake Lively / Justin Baldoni lawsuit.

Last month Taylor Swift shared her current obsession of making sourdough bread.  And she said she’s working on a Funfetti version for Jason Kelce’s daughters. Well, Pillsbury saw the dollar signs, and created a limited edition Funfetti sourdough bread mix. “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will return to the airwaves TONIGHT.  ABC said in a statement that Kimmel’s suspension was a matter of timing. Quote, “Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production on the show to avoid further inflaming a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country. “It is a decision we made because we felt some of the comments were ill-timed and thus insensitive. “We have spent the last days having thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after those conversations, we reached the decision to return the show on Tuesday.” Obviously, Jimmy is expected to address the situation when he hits the stage tonight. Meanwhile, around 400 celebrities signed an open letter by the ACLU supporting free speech and condemning Jimmy’s suspension. 

Baller Alert says Mattel is introducing its first bald Ken doll. It’s aimed at empowering kids with hair loss.  The doll is part of the Brave Barbie program and comes with accessories like wigs and hats. 

Tom Brady Draws PETA’s Ire For Kicking A Dog: TMZ says PETA criticized Tom Brady for his “kick the dog” remark during Sunday’s Bears-Cowboys game. Brady compared Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens throwing a helmet to kicking a dog at home. PETA hopes Brady will choose kinder language in the future.

48-year-old John Cena doesn’t have kids, and he doesn’t plan on changing that anytime soon.  He previously mentioned that he doesn’t have the time to be a great parent because he’s busy living life to fullest. (Before you ask, he’s been married for five years to a 36-year-old engineer, and says they share the same values.) Well, John recently doubled down at a convention in Boston.  Quote, “I’ll just give you a small insight into my life.  I have been working straight for 43 days now, and I’ve got another 20 to go. 

Scotty McCreery tells CMT that his son wants to name his new brother after the Bo-Berry Biscuit from Bojangles. “Being from the Carolinas, we love our Bojangles. And he got locked in on a name: Bo Berry McCreery. That’s what he wants his little brother to be named.”

The Star says Taylor Swift is taking a different approach to the 2025 NFL season. A source says she wants to be less intrusive when supporting Travis Kelce. “Neither she or Travis wants their engagement to overshadow the game. Travis wants to get to the Super Bowl and win it this time, and Taylor doesn’t want to give the arrogant football fans any reason to blame her in case the Chiefs lose.”

The Daily Mail claims Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna, is pressuring Taylor Swift to have kids. Travis and Taylor have only been engaged for one month. Travis was recently joking around with his brother, Jason, when they both agreed that Jason is currently Donna’s “favorite” son because he has kids. Jason then said, “She’s put some pressure on him.” People magazine says Jason and Travis Kelce were recently interviewing Colorado football coach Deion Sanders when they got into a discussion about whether or not it is okay to have a favorite child like Deion does. Jason said, “Mom’s always had Travis number one. I do know.”  Travis responded, “Listen, right now right now, Mom has Jason no. 1 because he has kids.”

Ben Affleck’s attempt to rekindle the flame with Jennifer Lopez fizzled . . . and Jennifer Garner is engaged to another guy…now he’s been reaching out to his ex Ana de Armas. Geo TV says Tom Cruise has allegedly issued an ultimatum to girlfriend Ana de Armas. A source says he wants her to stay away from Ben Affleck. “Tom is very territorial and doesn’t like the idea of Ben sniffing around. Ben and Ana ended things as friends and vowed they would stay that way. Lately, he’s been reaching out to try to see what’s up and potentially hang out when they’re in the same city. Ben’s acting casual about it, but the truth is he never had closure after they split. He wants the same kind of contact and openness with Ana that he has with his ex-wife, Jen Garner. For Cruise, though, that’s crossing the line. He doesn’t want anything, or anyone, messing up what he’s got with Ana, and he’s not afraid to confront Ben over this.’’

Reese Witherspoon tells The Daily Mail that she ‘grieved’ when her eldest children left for college. “I grieved their going to college, and I cried in their rooms. It’s a loss because you do everything for them. It just makes me teary right now. It’s just really hard. You don’t sleep because you’re either taking care of their physical needs when they’re little. AV Club says director George Miller is considering developing a Mad Max TV show called “The Wasteland”. The HBO Max series would be a prequel to “Fury Road” and would feature Max building a new Interceptor. Miller had hopes for a sixth Mad Max movie, but that depended on the success of “Furiosa,” which fell short at the box office. 

The National Enquirer says Jessica Simpson is allegedly eager to date Hollywood stars like Charlie Hunnam and James Franco. A source tells the magazine, “Jessica’s been putting herself out there to a nauseating degree, fan-girling over guys she’d like to date and dropping names like it was an invitation. But friends feel she’s coming across as too needy and should tone it down. Jessica, though, is a highly sexed-up gal and she’s not going to sit around and wait for the guy to call. She’s reached out to a few already, leaving nothing to the imagination. She’s set the bar high in terms of what she wants. She’s throwing herself at these guys and not apologizing for it. She feels she has a lot to offer with her looks and wealth. But the truth is the guys she’s approached aren’t very interested because she’s self-obsessed and can’t carry on a conversation that isn’t about her.”
