John Candy in Pulp Fiction? This Documentary Says It Was Possible
John Candy is so beloved for his roles in comedies like “Spaceballs” and “Uncle Buck”, so it’s kinda hard to imagine him playing a more serious character, or even a bad guy. But it almost happened. He got sent the script of ‘Pulp Fiction’, which would have been bizarre and he was up to be in ‘Goodfellas’, and he screen tested for it. The documentary, “John Candy: I Like Me”, premiered Friday Oct 10th on Prime Video.
Contrary to a longstanding rumor, John Candy and his wife did NOT get married at a McDonald’s, but the golden arches made an appearance at his wedding. The reception took place on a sound stage where a McDonald’s commercial had just filmed. John Candy is the subject of the new documentary John Candy: I Like Me.
Shailene Woodley will be doing her own singing for the upcoming Janis Joplin biopic and says it’s “scary” and “vulnerable”. Woodley is set to star in and produce Janis Joplin: Get It While You Can, which will tell the life story of the iconic singer, who died at age 27 in 1970. I have a feeling Janis would be smiling ear to ear to see Shailene Woodley portray her on the big screen.
Country Now says Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn are executive producing a new Lifetime Network Christmas movie inspired by their song “Thank God.” The movie, “Christmas at Keller Ranch,” will star Arielle Kebbel and Tyler Hilton. The couple will not appear on-screen but will infuse their love and faith themes from the song throughout the film.

Geo TV says Bradley Cooper is allegedly avoiding Leonardo DiCaprio because of his past relationship with his current girlfriend Gigi Hadid. An insider reveals, “Bradley’s too much of a gentleman to stay friendly with someone who treated his girl shabbily, So that’s where they’re at. Leo loved him like a brother and misses him like crazy. He’s sulking that Bradley’s broken the bro code and really doesn’t understand what he sees in Gigi.”
