Hero Pilot Sully Sullenberger Has Alzheimer’s: The NY Post says Capt. “Sully” Sullenberger has been diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s. The 75-year-old pilot says he will face this chapter with his family by his side.  Sully made headlines years ago when he landed a plane in the Hudson River in New York. Tom Hanks played Sully in the movie about the bird-strike landing

Last month, James Franco started posting weird TikToks about being watched, seeing an alien in his garage, and other crazy stuff. He vowed to release footage of the alien on July 13th . . . which was Monday . . . even though people were trying to silence him and hack his account. Well, Monday came and he did indeed post some of his “evidence” . . . and it’s not very convincing.  Instead of uploading it directly to TikTok, he played it on a laptop that was several feet back from his recording device. And he claims there’s more to come and things get, quote, “very crazy!!!” Although James continues to insist this isn’t a stunt, it really does seem like he’s promoting something . . . or just trying to get attention. Franco’s career slowed down considerably after he was accused of sexual assault by five women back in 2018.

Lenny Kravitz is probably the only person who works out in leather pants, but he might be onto something. In a new interview for “Men’s Health“, he says, quote, “I perform onstage in leather, denim, whatever, so those are the pants I wear to train.  It also means I can fit in a workout anytime, anywhere.” Lenny doesn’t track his workouts either.  He gauges his progress by his 28-inch waist.  Quote, “If my pants are a little tight, I know I’m getting outta shape.  My friend Denzel Washington gave me this phrase, ‘The pants don’t lie.'” Oh yeah, he’s 62 by the way.  His longtime trainer says Lenny is in better shape now than he’s ever been with 10-pack abs. (You can see his workout here.)

Billy Joel has a strong opinion about older artists who continue to release music past their prime.  As you know, he quit writing songs after he released his 12th album, “River of Dreams”, in 1993. Quote, “I’ve heard artists who keep putting out records and, really . . . they dilute their legacy.  Maybe they’re not as good as they used to be or they’re not as motivated as they were, but it ends up trailing off.” Billy says he didn’t want to go like that, and have his music played simply for being who he is.  Quote, “I wanted it to be good, and I recognized that I didn’t have the same motivation I used to have, so I said, ‘Stop.'” He didn’t call out any particular artists.  Of course, there are quite a few living legends who’ve recently released new music, like The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Deep Purple, and even Madonna. (You can watch Billy’s interview here.  His legacy comments start around 49:41.)

In a new interview, Tyler Hubbard hinted at Florida Georgia Line shows for next year.  Quote, “[Brian Kelley] and I have been hanging out, having a good time, and you know, kind of itching to get back on stage . . . “So, we’ll probably put some shows together next year, and that’s about as much as we’ve planned at this point.  But we’re both excited, it’s gonna be a fun year next year.”

Tom Holland DM’d fan-favorite Norwegian soccer player Erling Haaland and got GHOSTED.  He spotted him across the way at the F1 Monaco Grand Prix last month, and thought he’d shoot his shot. Tom says, quote, “That is exactly the type of humbling experience that is important for actors.  You know, you’re like, ‘I’ll text him, I’ll take him to dinner.’  [But he sent] not even a response, not an excuse . . . “Not ‘I’m busy tonight, I’m playing football,’ nada.” For what it’s worth, Haaland didn’t respond because he didn’t know who Tom Holland was. Quote, “I don’t watch movies much, so I have no idea who people are. A Miss Utah 2026 contestant paid tribute to Dolly Parton for her talent performance by speed painting a portrait.  Her name is Shelby Springall and she’s the current Miss Iron County. Shelby took the stage in a sparkly pink jumpsuit and a silver cowgirl hat. She painted a portrait of Dolly upside down to a rendition of “9 to 5”. (You can watch the video here.)

George Lucas has dealt with more than his share of overzealous, know-it-all fans. So it’s not surprising that he doesn’t think filmmakers should listen to them. Quote, “I don’t like focus groups. The audience doesn’t know what they want to see.” George says fan noise has gotten so loud that nowadays studios, quote, “let the audience actually make the movie.” He adds, quote, “That isn’t how you make the movie.  You make a movie by finding someone that knows how to make movies, that has a story to tell and is passionate about it.” Also not surprising is George’s take on A.I. in the movies.  He’s for it.  Quote, “Artificial intelligence means it’s much easier for us to make movies . . . There’s nothing you can do about it.  That’s progress, it’s the future.”

Page Six says Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have allegedly had their fluffy white puppy for close to a year. No word on a name.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s fluffy white dog was spotted Sunday hopping off Taylor’s private jet with Travis in Palm Beach, Florida. It’s the same dog that was seen in a leaked photo from their wedding.  They haven’t confirmed yet that they’re dog parents, but it seems pretty undeniable at this point. The dog’s breed looks like it could be a Samoyed.  Taylor is famously a cat lady, and currently has three . . . which she’s shared photos of, and has included them in music videos.  It remains to be seen if the dog will get similar treatment.

Shania Twain tells Page Six that she couldn’t attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding because she was already committed to Harry Styles’s shows. “Taylor Swift invited me to her wedding, and I couldn’t go because I was already committed to Harry’s shows. I was already committed. I would have done anything to be at Taylor’s wedding. It would have been really lovely for me to be there, but I was with Harry.”

BroBible says Shia LaBeouf recently confronted his stalker Alyssa.  She has been after him for months and claims they are married and he is her husband.  Shia walked up to her car window and said, “God bless you. Leave me alone. Hi, how are you? Hey, you’re scaring my Dad, you’re scaring my people. You hear what I’m saying? God bless you. Leave me alone.”

Radar Online says Eva Mendes is allegedly struggling with Ryan Gosling’s success. A source says, “The fact is, Eva sacrificed the last two summers to bring the whole family overseas to be with Ryan while he made movies. She’s not out of bounds for wanting a more normal summer this year. Eva treats their family as her life’s work, but there are a  million things Ryan still wants to do, and he finally has the clout to pull them off. For now, he’s going along with Eva’s plan – he doesn’t want to lose her! He’s got a tricky needle to thread.”

A source says,  “He was throwing tea parties in Mayfair for a while and enjoyed some brief courtships, but nothing really stuck. Now he’s relying on David to put the word out and hook him up.”
