2.  Bank teller . . . Someone said, “It used to be a foot in the door to the finance industry.  Now it’s basically a 20-something, credit card salesperson.”

3.  Taxi driver . . . This is maybe a case where the industry became so bad that people jumped at alternatives like Uber and Lyft when they launched.

4.  Astrologer . . . “Royals used to consult with astrologers to see what was ‘written in the stars’ for them, and it was considered a genuine science.” 

5.  Teacher . . . “The complete lack of respect by governments . . . parents . . . and kids is astonishing.”

6.  Wedding photographers . . . “Went from being the preservers of authentic, joyful moments . . . to being content creators that manufacture those ‘authentic’ moments for likes and bride-fluencers.”

7.  Journalists . . . “Somewhere along the way it stopped being about delivering the news in a timely manner, and started being about getting clicks and being the first to report something, even if it might not have been true.”

8.  Politicians, including the president . . . If they were ever respected.

9.  Working for an airline . . . “It used to be an admirable, classy job . . . now it’s embarrassing as airlines treat people like cattle.”

10.  Real estate agents . . . “It’s just become a Plan B career.”
