Hollywood’s Favorite Maybe-Brothers Get Their Own Show
Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are teaming up for a new Apple TV+ comedy called Brothers . . . and yes, they’re leaning into those real-life rumors that they might actually be half-brothers. Woody says the series premieres this fall and compares the vibe to Curb Your Enthusiasm. He says they’re playing exaggerated versions of themselves in a fictionalized story. The show starts with Woody heading to Texas to spend time with Matthew . . . but once Woody’s tour bus rolls through the gates of McConaughey’s ranch, it never leaves. Woody says that setup becomes the premise for the first eight episodes.
Weird Al Yankovic has already had a movie about his life . . . as unserious as it was . . . and now he’s getting a stage musical. It’s called “Dare to Be Stupid: The Weird Al Musical”. It’s an original story, co-written by Al himself, and featuring songs spanning his career. Al says, quote, “Ever since I was a middle-aged man, I’ve always wanted to be a part of the New York theatre community. “Plus, the one thing people always say about Broadway is that it’s ‘severely lacking in Weird Al-based entertainment,’ and I think this musical should fix that problem immediately.” There’s no word yet on a premiere date. “Dare to Be Stupid” is the name of Al’s 1985 album, as well as its title track.

It’s when an artist has earned all three at some point in their career: New Male/Female Artist, Male/Female Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year. He just needs Entertainer of the Year. 3. Chris Stapleton could tie Merle Haggard for most Male Artist of the Year wins. Merle has six. Chris has five. 4. Miranda Lambert could extend her Song of the Year record. She’s won seven. She’s up for two this year, including as a songwriter for “Choosin’ Texas”. 5. Lainey Wilson could become the first female to win Entertainer of the Year three years in a row…we BOTH picked her in our predictions. (For a refresher, here are the nominees.)

Quote, “From Tiffany’s deeply human story rooted in joy and honesty, to Alix’s evolution of access into influence . .Hilary says being asked to participate was flattering, but daunting. Quote, “I’m a mom of four, and I’m not a spring chicken. I don’t typically frolic around in a bathing suit, so it was a little scary.” Tiffany says it made her realize that modeling isn’t as easy as it looks. Quote, “There was a few times I scraped my knee on the lava rocks and I was bleeding. And I was like, ‘Modeling is a lot harder than I thought it was.”
