Blue Bell has a new ice cream flavor called Groom’s Cake. The chocolate ice cream has chocolate cake pieces, chocolate-coated strawberry hearts, swirls of strawberry sauce and chocolate icing.

The famous Texas Roadhouse honey cinnamon butter is now on grocery store shelves. Fans can enjoy the delicious spread in the comfort of their homes. 

McDonald’s is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the McFlurry with a new Birthday Cake flavor . . . but not in the U.S.  It’s only in Canada.

The hot new health hack on TikTok is human “dog food”?  It’s not really dog food, it just looks like it.  Basically, take a bunch of healthy stuff like veggies, rice, and chicken . . . chop it up really fine . . . mix it together . . . and eat a bowl of it for EVERY MEAL. 

According to journalist and beer columnist George Lenker the optimal number of beers is two.  He admits this is catered to his body specifically but says that at three beers, bad decisions start being made . . . like ordering a fourth and fifth beer. He claims it’s two beers . . . a water . . . and then maybe a third beer, if you’re at a bar long enough to pace yourself.  That’s apparently the best, unless you want to get hammered.

Someone figured out that the most expensive item on the Starbucks app is $45.  It’s not a normal drink . . . you need to make a lot of modifications, like adding 12 shots of espresso. 

Apple is working on a brain-computer interface that could let users control devices with their thoughts. The project is in the early stages but aims to revolutionize how people interact with technology. The paper says people would get brain implants and then would be able to control their iPhones and other Apple devices with their thoughts.

A study (out of Spain) revealed that more than half of the dog-owning drivers surveyed (54 percent) said that they drive more carefully when traveling with their pet in the car. What’s more, having a dog in the car also had the added benefit of reducing driver stress levels, with 35 percent of those surveyed saying that they feel calmer when their dog is in the car.

Pope Leo XIV’s favorite Chicago pizza IS NOT deep dish. He likes a thin crust slice of classic pepperoni from Aurelio’s in Homewood, Illinois.  The restaurant even introduced the “Pope-erroni” pizza in his honor.  Tavern-style pizza is a true staple of Chicago because of its crisp crust, edge-to-edge toppings, and square-cut slices.  The Pope’s Table at Aurelio’s features a chair donated by a local church.

A recent Swiss study found no meaningful recovery benefits from cold plunge sessions. The study also showed no significant differences in recovery indicators like soreness and muscle strength. Experts warn of potential dangers like rapid heart rate increases and elevated blood pressure from sudden cold exposure. Doctors say quality sleep, hydration and good nutrition are still the best for workout recovery.
