“GOOD STUFF” STORY- Wed 3/05/24

Talk about a legacy:  A guy in Australia named James Harrison just passed away at 88.  People called him “The Man with the Golden Arm” because of how much blood he donated.  Or technically, blood plasma. He had a rare antibody used to treat a disease in unborn babies.  He found out about it as a teenager, and donated around every two weeks until he was 81.  He gave blood 1,173 times, and saved the lives of more than 2.4 MILLION babies.

An 18-year-old kid from Utah named Luke Herbert had to quit baseball when he got diagnosed with an auto-immune disease.  He just became the first kid from Utah to get a scholarship for cornhole.  He’s playing for Winthrop University in South Carolina.
