A Shawano County, Wisconsin 10-year-old student recently dialed 911 for help with a math problem. Deputy Mason assisted, despite not being a math expert. After solving the problem, Deputy Mason reminded the student about using 911 only for emergencies. The Sheriff’s Office thanked Deputy Mason for helping the young student.

A 97-year-old Merrill, Michigan woman recently got to cheer again with her high school cheerleading team. Ilagene Doehring helped introduce cheerleading to her school and made their first uniforms. The current cheer team surprised her at her assisted living center with her own uniform. Doehring said she was embarrassed but had fun.
