A Minnesota great-grandmother, named Debbie Bury, won a $100,000 lottery jackpot while in the hospital with stage 4 brain cancer. She found out about the tumors just before scratching off her winning ticket. Bury had successful surgery and was told she has at least six more years of life. She says, “It felt like life is now going to be good.” Bury went to the doctor because she plays Blackjack and recently had trouble adding up numbers during a game

A Cambridge, Massachusetts McDonald’s employee recently had his bicycle stolen. Daniel Lopez’s co-workers all chipped in and bought him a new bike. He was deeply touched by the thoughtful gesture. The co-workers called the bike an early birthday present.
