A woman near Detroit put a sign up on Halloween to let kids know she wasn’t handing out candy, because her special-needs son had to go to the hospital.  But some apparently thought it meant her son wasn’t getting candy.  So they pitched in to help him out and began dumping buckets of their own candy on her doorstep.  Here is Amy Schmitt talking about the act of kindness from the neighborhood kids.
