The BBC did a story about a guy in England named Donovan Shears, who got his first cell phone in 1998 when he was 18. Texting was brand new back then.  So he texted “hello” to a random number, just for fun.  He got a text back from a woman named Kirsty . . . and ended up MARRYING her. They got married four years later and have two kids now, aged six and nine.

A 103-year-old woman in England named Mabel White doesn’t have any family, because she’s outlived them all.  But she still had a very happy birthday last week after receiving 1,700 birthday cards from people all over the world.
