A York County, Pennsylvania man will celeb rate 80 years of participating in elections today. Sandy Harper has been voting since he was 22 years old. Harper views voting as a privilege and an important part of civic duty. He encourages everyone to exercise their right to vote.  He will be voting in his 20th Presidential election today

Pauline Gearhart, a 89-year-old from Fairfax, Virginia, is working her 85th election today as a poll worker. She started working polls when she was 5 years old. Gearhart’s commitment to serving her community has extended to her daughter, Beth, who also works as an election officer in their precinct.
