Karissa Livia surprised her visually impaired 15-year-old son, Shay, with a custom manicure featuring braille that spelled out “Love U, Shay”. Shay was thrilled and exclaimed, “You got braille on your nails? Ouuu! Hype, baby, hype.” TikTok users praised Karissa’s dedication, with one commenter suggesting she should receive the “mom of the year” award.

Wildlife officials saved a moose that fell through the ice on a lake in Upstate New York.  They used a chainsaw to carve a channel in the ice, and got it to swim to shallow water.  Then it climbed out on its own and ran off into the woods.  Here are the authorities talking about the dramatic rescue.
