A woman in Dallas reached out to thank Delta for helping her say goodbye to her mom, who passed away in October.  She was trying to get to Bismarck, North Dakota to see her mom when her flight got delayed.  She would have missed her connection but the pilot heard about it and got in touch with the next pilot, who agreed to hold the plane until she got there.  Her mom passed away the next day.
