8-year-old James Carpenter, of Ionia County, Michigan, used bake sale funds to host a spaghetti dinner for those in need. He and his grandmother provided spaghetti, salad, and more at a local church. James plans to continue helping others by supporting local veterans.

A cop in Southern California is being hailed a hero after saving a kid from an oncoming train last month.  The mom’s SUV got stuck on the tracks, and she was trying to get her two kids out before the train hit.  Here is Deputy Michael Castaneda talking about what happened.
