A cop in Washington state randomly saw a dog sitting in the middle of a road, and she refused to get in his patrol car.  Then she led him to a cabin, where her 84-year-old owner was in trouble. He’d fallen and hurt his leg, and he’d been stuck there for hours without access to his medications.  Police say the 13-year-old dog literally saved his life.  (Her name is Gita.  Here’s a photo.)

Facebook helped a couple in Australia find their long-lost wedding footage from 57 years ago.  They got married in Scotland in 1967, and a random guy there found it in his collection of Super 8 reels.
