A Los Angeles Fire Captain saved an entire block of his neighbors’ homes from the Eaton Fire in Altadena.  Captain Dan Lievense, his brother, and his son kept at it for 48 hours and saved 14 homes.

His brother had his own fire hose.  They hooked it up to the only hydrant on the street and got to work putting out blazes on one side of the street.  The other side was a complete loss.
