Kaylee Hottle, an actress from the Godzilla and Kong movies, died in a car accident yesterday morning in Maryland.  She was only 18. Haylee played Jia, Kong’s adorable little deaf friend, in both “Godzilla vs. Kong” and “Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”.  She was able to communicate with Kong through sign language. Haylee was also deaf in real life, as was the rest of her family.  Her father announced her death in sign language on Facebook.  (WARNING:  Even if you don’t know sign language, this video will break your heart.) Police in Frederick County, Maryland say Kaylee was a passenger in a 1995 Honda Accord that left the road and crashed into a culvert.  Excessive speed was said to be a factor. This feels important:  Conan O’Brien ditched his classic pompadour for a slicked back look during the filming of his podcast on Monday. Conan’s new ‘do got a huge reaction online. “If this is Conan’s new look he needs a gold chain.”

Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” is inspiring people to listen to the audiobook, even Gen Z.  Spotify says it’s on track to be up about 680%.  Two-thirds of the listeners are men, and 36% are Gen Z. Spotify says across 91 audiobook editions in 10 different languages, “The Odyssey” has now been listened to the equivalent of more than 43 years of continuous playback. On the opening day of the movie, audiobook streams jumped more than 500% on Spotify.

If you’ve seen Ella Langley on her “Dandelion” tour, you probably noticed a trailer in the parking lot promoting a collaboration with RAW Nutrition.  Well, you’ll soon be able to try a BUM Energy x Ella Langley drink. It has no sugar and it’s a peaches and honey flavor.  The can has an orange floral design.  A release date hasn’t been announced yet.

Deadline Hollywood says another Deadpool movie is in early development. Ryan Reynolds is confirmed to return.  No writer or director is attached yet.

Nerdist says RoboCop is getting his own live-action TV show on Prime Video.  No word on who is going to play Robocop. Amazon ordered eight episodes.

TMZ says the members of the Village People recently attended Victor Willis’ funeral in their costumes. Willis, the founder of the band, died last month after a short illness. The current Village People sat in the front row as Willis was laid to rest.

Deadline Hollywood says a Top Gun attraction is being planned for the Las Vegas Strip.  Visitors will find dining and shopping options as part of the immersive experience.  The attraction will be called “Top Gun Vegas”.

Jason Bateman has only been arrested once in his life.  But at least he made it fashionable. It happened in Monaco, because he was drunk and disorderly while wearing a, quote, “nice little leopard outfit” with a pocket full of casino chips. Jason blames being banged up on cheap champagne. He shared the story on an episode of his “Smartless” podcast, but he didn’t say when it happened.  Jason has been “California sober” for over two decades.  That means no alcohol or hard drugs, only weed.

Few details have leaked from the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding.  But Jason Kelce has confirmed the rumor that Taylor and Travis performed a duet. He said, quote, “Trav can sing.  Trav has always been able to carry a tune. Obviously [he] pales in comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did okay.” It’s unclear if it was a rehearsed performance or a casual karaoke duet. Jason also didn’t say what song they sang. Jason said they grew up in the artsy town of Cleveland Heights and learned to do a little bit of everything.  Quote, “There’s always been like a thriving music scene there . . . Everybody in fourth grade, you’re getting a musical instrument. “When you’re in middle school, you’re either singing or you’re doing music with an instrument.”

The Daily Beast says Matt Damon has revealed he had a female stunt double for ‘’The Odyssey’’. The double is Devyn Dalton, a 34-year-old actress known for her work in ‘’The Planet of the Apes’’ franchise and ‘’The Last of Us’’. Damon says some shots are his, but  others are Dalton’s.

The NY Post says the $33 million wine country estate once belonging to the late Alex Trebek is set to be auctioned off. The luxurious 700-acre property was owned by the iconic “Jeopardy!” host for 37 years before he sold it to its current owners in 2001. Trebek quietly built a reputation as a California Wine Country investor​

RadarOnline.com says Jennifer Lopez is allegedly in the middle of a midlife crisis and wants to win back Ben Affleck. A source says, “J.Lo’s always been incredibly self-absorbed but things have gotten way out of hand lately. When she’s not posting selfies, she’s glued to her phone reading about herself or calling people and keeping the whole conversation focused on number one.
