Someone asked Kelsea Ballerini what advice she would give to her younger self. And her answer is, nothing. Here’s why.
Luke Bryan was out at a local gas station, when a fan recognized him. Except the fan thought he was Blake Shelton.
A lot of things that happen in movies . . . even in movies that are supposed to be grounded in reality . . . NEVER happen in real life. And there’s a Reddit thread devoted to them. A lot of the obvious ones are in there, like people getting shot in the shoulder and acting like it’s no big deal, or the bad guy making a speech to the hero instead of just killing them on the spot. Here are some of the others that you may or may not have noticed:
- Getting a parking spot right in front of a business in a major city in the middle of the day.
- Turning on the TV and it’s magically on the news, which is delivering the exact information the character needs right away.
- People not saying goodbye before hanging up the phone.
- Stealing someone’s uniform and having it fit perfectly.
- Someone guessing someone else’s password in just a few tries.
- Getting up in the morning and walking into the kitchen to a full breakfast, then eating a piece of toast and leaving for work or school. (And why is the mom, or whoever cooked the meal, never FURIOUS about this?)
- People hiding from bullets behind things that the bullets would absolutely rip through.
- Immediately getting in the shower after turning the water on, without having to check the temperature a few times first.
- Jumping from a significant height onto bags of garbage, and whatever’s inside them always provides a safe, soft landing.
- The grocery bag with a French baguette sticking out.
