A Texas college senior recently got engaged to her high school boyfriend. Brooklyn Boyer, who now attends Lubbock Christian University, was paralyzed after hitting her head in a pool at 17. Alan Mann, who saved her when they were teenagers, proposed during a dinner in February.  Boyer is still in a wheelchair, but hopes to walk again one day, saying God has been with them throughout their journey.

A two-year-old boy wandered away from his parents’ home on Saturday night, about an hour west of Detroit.  He was only in a diaper, and it dropped below freezing that night.  Sergeant Cole Martin and Trooper Brandon Franklin were in a police helicopter, and spotted the kid’s heat signature on their infrared camera.  The kid got checked out at a hospital, and he’s okay.
