Eric ‘McSteamy’ Dane Diagnosed with ALS

WTHR says the official cause of Val Kilmer’s death has been announced. He passed away after a battle with pneumonia and throat cancer. Kilmer’s death certificate reveals that he died from “organic failure due to metastatic squamous cell carcinoma.” 

The Wrap says ‘’A Minecraft Movie’’  is expected to earn $65 million in its upcoming second weekend out. 

Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez and Gayle King Ready For Monday’s Space Flight:  The NY Post says Katy Perry, Lauren Sanchez and Gayle King are preparing for their all-female space flight on Monday. The crew will undergo final training sessions and zero-gravity simulations today for their 11-minute mission. Perry plans to get glammed up for the flight and hopes to inspire her daughter and a new generation by making space and science glamorous. 

Ed Sheeran tells Holler Country that his “end goal” is to move back to Nashville and make a country album. “Nashville is, like, my favorite city in the States. It’s always been my end goal. I’m going to move to Nashville and transition to country, but I think you just have to do it properly.” 

Bill Hader says he once got fired from his job at a movie theater for spoiling the ending of “The Titanic”.  Female First quotes him as saying, “I got fired from a movie theatre for ruining the end of ‘Titanic’. I was working in a movie theatre, and Titanic hadn’t come out yet, and a sorority had bought out the movie theatre. And they were in the doorway and I was going, ‘Hey, guys. Can you guys move?’ They were making fun of me, they said I looked like Charles Manson. Which I kinda did. I had a little bowtie on and cummerbund, and I was like, ‘Hey guys, please move.’ And they were like, ‘No.’ So when they went in, as I tore the tickets, I was like, ‘Enjoy the movie. The boat sinks at the end. Leo dies.’ And they were like, ‘No, he doesn’t.’ I go, ‘Yeah, you think he’s asleep. But he’s frozen.’ And that showed them.”

The Daily Mail says Grey’s Anatomy star Eric ‘McSteamy’  Dane has been diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The 52-year-old said he is thankful for his family’s support as he faces the illness. Dane requested privacy during this time as he continues working on the set of ‘’Euphoria.’’ ALS is a rare and incurable degenerative disease that affects the nervous system and causes the muscles to suffer from paralysis.

Here’s a fun Morgan Wallen fact.  He’s never had a female duet on any of his albums.  But apparently that’s coming to an end.  A fan asked Morgan Wallen to confirm if his new song “What I Want” will be a female duet.  Morgan responded by saying, “Indeed sir.”  Now fans everywhere are hoping his duet is with Megan Moroney. And to keep the rumor mill going, Megan Moroney just posted the phrase “Get me to God’s Country” on her TikTok and her fans are going crazy. Is she going to be Morgan’s first female duet?  Is she just trying to help him sell merch?  Or is she just capitalizing on Morgan’s epic “SNL” exit?

The Country Music Hall of Fame announced a new exhibit called “Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker” and it will open next month on May 20th.  It will remain open through September of 2026. (You can check out the announcement, here.)
