Two farm workers near Fresno, Carlos Perea Romero and Angel Zarco, are being praised as heroes after saving several children from a school bus fire. The incident happened in September, when the bus suddenly caught fire while carrying students. Without hesitation, Romero and Zarco ran toward the flames, pulling kids to safety and even rushing through thick, dark smoke to reach those trapped in the back. Thanks to their quick actions, every child made it out safely. Last month, both men were formally honored for their bravery.
