Ella Langley is on top of the music world.  This week, “Choosin’ Texas” rose to #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100.  This makes Ella just the seventh woman in history to top the all-genre chart with a country song.  That elite list includes Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, Jeannie C. Riley . . . and Beyoncé. On top of that, Ella is now the first female artist ever to hold the #1 spots on the Hot Country Songs chart, Country Airplay, and the Hot 100 at the same time. The song was released back on October 7th, and it has been on a tear ever since.  “Choosin’ Texas” also became the fastest solo female song to hit the Top 10 on country radio this decade.

Savannah Guthrie posted a new video yesterday hoping that someone in the public knows something that could help in the search for her mother. According to a ransom note, Savannah Guthrie’s family was supposed to pay her mother’s alleged abductors $4 million in Bitcoin if paid by Feb 5, which would increase to $6 million if not paid.  It doesn’t appear that they did so. The ransom note was sent to a pair of Arizona TV stations.

The Irish Mirror says Catherine O’Hara’s official cause of death was pulmonary embolism with rectal cancer as the underlying issue. O’Hara, known for being the Home Alone Mom, passed away following a medical emergency in Los Angeles.

Retail Dive says Eddie Bauer has filed for bankruptcy. They are closing all 175 locations.  The brand’s e-commerce and wholesale operations are not affected by the Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Sales declines, supply chain issues, and tariff uncertainty contributed to the filing.

Morgan Wallen tells People magazine that he enjoys seeing his son’s strong personality show up in everyday moments. “He’s got a little sass. He doesn’t take any guff. I like that spunk.”

Shaboozey tells Billboard magazine that he enjoys a good campfire with friends. “I love the city, but I also love sitting in a field by a campfire surrounded by my friends. I’m just as happy sitting outside with friends and food as I am anywhere else.”

Iconic Auctioneers says Tom Cruise’s ‘Mission Impossible’ Jeep, used in the 2025 film “The Final Reckoning,” is being auctioned off. It is expected to fetch between $34,159 and $68,320. Cruise drove the Wrangler Rubicon which has safety features like a roll cage and fire suppression system.

The News International says Kaley Cuoco’s fiancé, Tom Pelphrey, sleeps in a separate room due to their different schedules. She says, “He writes at night. He reads, It’s his quiet time. So he’s up late and wakes up late on a non-working day. We established this from day one. I go to bed early, and I wake up early. We’re totally on different sleeping schedules. He was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ And I’m like, ‘I understand.’ So he started sleeping in the guest room. Game changer. It works great for us. We’re, like, so much happier.”

New Idea magazine says Barry Williams, famous for playing Greg Brady on “The Brady Bunch”, is definitely interested in reuniting with his former castmates for a reboot. He says, “One of our producers, Lloyd J. Schwartz, says, ‘The Brady Bunch is a lot of things, dead isn’t one of them’. There’s always talk and things, it’s just trying to find the right timing.
