“Avengers: Doomsday” has already made $50 million so far in domestic presale tickets.  And it doesn’t even hit theaters until December 18th, which is a little over three months away. Marvel Studios says that more than 70% of those presales are for Infinity Vision, which is kind of like Disney’s version of IMAX. It’s described as delivering, quote, “the biggest, brightest, and most immersive cinematic experience.” The first film to be released in Infinity Vision will be “Avengers Endgame: Encore” later this month. Fans think it’s Disney’s response to “Dune: Part Three” having a three-week exclusivity with IMAX theaters.

A doctoral student at the University of California, Riverside named four species of plant-feeding insects from Australia after Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift has officially added some new fans to her entourage—and they have six legs!  Four newly discovered Australian insects have been named after Taylor: Swiftiephylus taylorae.  These little guys have the look down, too. They’re pale yellow with red accents, giving off serious Taylor vibes. They’re harmless to people, animals, and plants. So, apparently, even the bugs are Swifties now!

Dolly Parton’s sister Stella was on “CBS Mornings” yesterday.  She confirmed to Gayle King that Dolly kept her cancer battle hidden because she didn’t want fans or a lot of the family to be worried. Quote, “Dolly could not bear negative things . . . Some of us knew, the ones that were closer . . .  She did not want to see people sad.” (You can watch a clip of Stella on “CBS Mornings” here.) In other Dolly news, the owner of her former home in Solvang, California says they’ve been receiving a “tsunami of calls” from interested buyers.

Billy Joel, the 77-year-old “Piano Man” says he underwent brain surgery after being diagnosed with a condition called normal pressure hydrocephalus, which was affecting his balance and memory. Doctors implanted a shunt, and Joel says his memory, balance, and overall functioning have improved. But there’s a surprising catch: doctors told him performing loud rock concerts could be causing concussion-like effects on his brain. So for now, Billy’s focusing on physical therapy and recovery—and says, “Don’t worry about him. He’s not going anywhere.”

Hallmark will kick off their Countdown to Christmas with the premiere of “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story” on October 17th. It’s the third movie made in partnership with the NFL. The two other movies were focused on the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills. “A Bears Love Story” is about a Chicago firefighter who gets the local news to do a story about his grandmother who will attend her 500th Bears game. Of course, the love interest is the reporter assigned to the story. There will be appearances from Bears coach Ben Johnson and players Cole Kmet and Colston Loveland . . . former Bears stars Mike Singletary, Charles “Peanut” Tillman, and Dan Hampton . . .And Connie Payton, the wife of the late Walter Payton. Hallmark’s full lineup of Christmas movies will be announced next week.

AOL says Meghan Patrick and Mitchell Tenpenny have welcomed a baby girl. The country singers, who married in a rustic farm wedding in Tennessee in 2022, have been open about struggling for years to conceive before learning their little blessing was finally coming.  They named her Ember James to honor family.

Jason Aldean refuses to do encores because he thinks the routine wastes everyone’s time. He says, “It’s called an encore and I think it’s stupid. I would rather play everything and when the show ends, it is over.”

Bunnie XO tells the Cheat Sheet that she doesn’t want to be the poster child for divorce following her split from Jelly Roll. “I don’t want to be the freakin’ poster child for divorce. There’s nothing hot about that. It’s a very devastating situation anybody has to go through. Families get broken up, hearts get broken. It’s time to move on.”

Entertainment Now says Nicole Kidman’s rumored romance with businessman Michael Reinstein has allegedly cooled since they were photographed together in Portofino, Italy in July. The attention from those photos, along with their busy careers, contributed to the relationship fading. A source says, “Nicole really enjoyed Michael’s company, and he was getting under her skin, but it feels like the spotlight ruined it, and so they both kind of mutually pulled away. Nicole knew that it was potentially over the moment they were papped in Italy. The photos that showed them by the pool, and in his Ferrari, put a very private businessman into the A-list megawatt spotlight, and it freaked him out.”

American Songwriter says Luke Combs celebrated after learning that a young fan received a guitar from Tim McGraw. McGraw gave Finn a signed guitar after the boy sang part of “Where the Green Grass Grows” at his concert and promised to learn the instrument. Finn’s first concert had been a Luke Combs show, prompting the boy to tell McGraw, “I know you are best friends with Luke Combs.” Combs later commented, “HELL YEAH,” while Finn’s mother said he had not stopped singing the song since the concert.

The Blast says Jon and Summer Pardi recently announced they are ending their marriage. In a joint statement, they said the decision came after much thought. The couple said their daughters, Presley and Sienna, remain their highest priority and that they are committed to co-parenting with love and respect. A source says,  “There were security cameras on his tour bus that she had access to. He cheated on her two different times, at least, and she saw it all on camera. Pretty stupid of him. One of the women was a groupie. I feel for her. She’s so nice, and it’s just embarrassing and humiliating. They have two young girls, and they’re going to find out about it and see all this one day.”

News24 says Prince William and Kate Middleton are not ready to reconcile with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. A source says, “William and Catherine feel completely derailed at this unexpected return of the Sussexes. We know why they’ve come back to the United Kingdom. The Sussex brand has been a complete flop in the United States. Harry is sweating the small stuff over his visa because it hasn’t yet been proven whether he was honest with the authorities about his alleged drug use when he filled out that visa application. Plus, the couple are going flat broke. Yes, they’ve got some savings, but it’s going out the door very quickly, so they’ve come back to the UK in retreat. I think it’s a problem for William and Catherine on one level because it doesn’t matter how many hospital wings they open, the Sussexes are going to get the headlines, but I would argue those aren’t going to be good headlines.”

OK Magazine says  Heather Locklear is allegedly keeping her distance from Denise Richards, who has reportedly tried to repair their friendship nearly two decades after their falling out. The rift dates back to Richards’ relationship with rocker Richie Sambora, who was married to Locklear before dating her. Locklear and actor Lorenzo Lamas reconnected over the 2025 holidays, confirmed their romance in early 2026, and have since made public appearances together and blended their families. A source says, “The way Heather sees it, Denise showed her true colors all those years ago. She isn’t going to tempt fate by letting her back into her life, and having Lorenzo in the picture only makes Heather more cautious.”

Billy Baldwin tells Unleashed that he would never work with Sharon Stone again. The pair played love interests in the 1993 thriller ”Sliver”. Baldwin says their relationship deteriorated after an initially friendly start. He said he tried to avoid their final love scene, but producers reminded him of his contract. “I can do the scene. But I just please, please don’t make me kiss her. Please don’t make me kiss her.” Stone described the set as toxic for women

The Blast says Jennifer Aniston is standing firmly behind her boyfriend, Jim Curtis, as warnings emerge from her inner circle about their romance. A source says, “Jen usually pays no attention to negative chatter, but this narrative about some of her friends being suspicious of Jim has not gone unnoticed by her. Anyone that turns out to be anti-Jim is going to be booted immediately from her circle.”

TMZ says Lori Loughlin filed for a divorce from Mossimo Giannulli for a fresh start, not because she is dating someone new. Loughlin and Giannulli have been living separately for more than a year after growing apart. She said they signed a prenuptial agreement and will address spousal support later. Loughlin recently rejoined Instagram and is keeping busy filming movies. The couple married in 1997 and share daughters Olivia Jade and Bella Giannulli.

Kate Hudson tells the Sibling Revelry that wedding planning with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa has been complicated by the size of her family.  “I still am not married. I’m just engaged. And I keep thinking about [the] wedding and what are we going to do. Every time we started thinking about who we have to invite and Danny’s like, ‘I just want a small wedding.’ Our family alone is like 50 people. We’ve got, like, a million kids. There’s a million uncles and aunts and cousins. That’s part of why I don’t want to get married. It’s too expensive.” Hudson and Fujikawa began dating in 2016 and welcomed their daughter, Rani Rose, in 2018. Fujikawa proposed in September 2021 after five years of dating.

TMZ says Nicolas Cage’s Malibu neighborhood has been evacuated after a sinkhole in his driveway turned into a full-blown emergency. The crater is approximately 25 to 30 feet deep and 30 by 60 feet wide. Several nearby homes have been red-tagged because of hazardous conditions and because vehicles can’t enter or exit safely. The sinkhole ripped through the roadway and left busted concrete and pavement on Cage’s property.
