Keith Urban’s new song “We Go Back” featuring Michael McDonald is the centerpiece original on his upcoming yacht rock album Flow State. It’s the only brand-new track on the project, pairing Urban with one of the defining voices of the genre. The song leans into that smooth, melodic style yacht rock is known for, with McDonald’s signature harmonies helping drive the sound. Lyrically, it focuses on longtime connection and shared memories, fitting right in with the album’s nostalgic theme.

Flow State drops June 12, 2026, on MCA, and features 11 tracks total—10 classic covers and one original. Urban co-produced the album with Dann Huff at his Nashville studio, The Sound, calling it an “antidote” to modern stress.
