Jordan Davis

“Mess” is a sultry, electric-guitar-driven single released by Jordan Davis. Co-written with his brother Jacob Davis alongside Travis Wood and Paul DiGiovanni, the track serves as a direct follow-up to his heavily praised 2025 album, Learn The Hard Way. Lyrically, the song tackles the honest and messy side of emotional backsliding, with Davis playing a narrator who has finally moved past a devastating breakup, only to willingly throw away his hard-earned peace to reconnect with an toxic old flame. Sonically, the track relies on a smooth, bluesy groove that leans heavily into his Louisiana roots.
While “Mess” is currently treating fans to a standalone taste of new music as he builds toward his next full-length project, it follows an incredibly successful string of chart triumphs. Davis recently racked up his 11th career No. 1 country radio hit and comes fresh off the back-to-back chart-topping successes of singles like “I Ain’t Sayin'”—which notably broke records with an eight-week run at UK country radio—and “Bar None”. Fans can catch him performing live, as he is currently touring across the United States through October 2026. This follows a massive international headline run earlier in the year that saw him sell out iconic major venues, including London’s OVO Arena Wembley.
