Devil Shake, Flight & La Croix

“Chocolate Pepsi Fail…No In-Flight Meal On This Plane Ride … & French Water That Sparkles!”

Devil Shake- In 1966, Pepsi tried to compete with Yoo-Hoo by making its own chocolate drink called “Devil Shake.”  But it was a huge failure, and only lasted about a year.

Flight- The shortest commercial flight in the world is in Scotland.  The flight goes between two islands in Orkney, Scotland, and lasts about 80 seconds.

La Croix- La Croix sparkling water gets its fancy French name from . . . Wisconsin. It’s a cross between La Crosse, Wisconsin, where it’s made, and the St. Croix River in western Wisconsin. Officially, it’s pronounced “lah-croy,” so it rhymes with enjoy . . . not “la kwah” or “la krah,” like the French might say it.
